A former Minneapolis resident has made a philatelic discovery that has eluded collectors and archivists for 53 years.Kent Kobersteen of Washington, D.C., recently found a single-color die essay of the 1928 red, white and blue Beacon airmail stamp, it was reported Feb. 11 by Linn's Weekly Stamp News.
